I think that those who said GB and the UK were also correct. If you disagree, my question is was the longest serving deputy prime minister of Australia. Hint: He/She died recently at 90yo. If you agree, then let them ask their question.
Sorry, I was wrong. Great Britain only includes England, Scotland, and Wales. The UK includes GB and Northern Ireland. Therefore, the UK and GB would have been incorrect. Also I could only find the 12 Bens in western Ireland, and the Ben Nevis mountain in Scotland. I can't find a 3 bens mountain in Ireland. Could you add a link?
You are correct. Doug Anthony served as deputy for almost 11 years. Your question?
from... Walk on the Wild side off that album. Lou Reed..
next .. remember this one ... nope... so the Furies were creatures from the Underworld... but appeared on earth in the form of vengeful killer women....
What name did the ancient Greeks give to those female Furies that exacted vengeance upon the wicked.?
Well a ridiculous question I know. Like some others I have read here. Not all my own by any means.
Translated out from Ancient Greek to modern language they became the Erinyes.... spelling optional. But according to legend Athena, the goddess of Athens came to repair the harm and start democracy... She offered them a life of peace and reflection, should they cease their destruction of all they were against, and so the agreed and according to Aeschylus , the great tragic poet of Ancient Greece, were granted that peace and became known as the Eumanides.
