True story, needed a break from the computer so we (Mum and me) went for a drive. Headed north, afternoon coffee at Pt Wakefield 98Km from Adelaide. Didn’t want to go home same way so drove to Balaklava. Near there I saw something:

“Look, a camel! Or a horse that has really got the hump!” :bgrin

Doubts have begun to emerge about Donald Trump’s claim that he personally chased ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi into a small tunnel, placed him in a choke hold, grabbed his weapon and shot him dead in a Syrian compound earlier this week.

With limited footage available, it is difficult to say for certain what took place in the small Middle Eastern enclave, but experts are now claiming certain small details from Trump’s story may have been exaggerated.

“I can buy that he was there in Syria on the front line fighting against the ISIS terrorists. But the claim that he actually ran down into the tunnel shouting ‘I’m going to kill you, you very bad man!’ before wrestling him to the ground, I’m starting to wonder about,” military expert James Beroni said.

“I mean sure, the claims that Donald Trump personally tracked the head of ISIS down to his hiding place do sound legitimate. But the idea that Trump then did a very tremendous negotiation with him, to cause him to hand over his weapon does sound a bit much”.

But Trump’s supporters – like Jessie Wilton from Nebraska – say the claims are definitely true. “Not only did he find and then kill al-Baghdadi, he actually filmed it – and that live stream was one of the highest rating programs on network television.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—At a press conference held on Capitol Hill Friday, mourning Democrat leaders called for flags to be flown half-mast to honor the death of Qasem Soleimani.

Flags were spotted flying at half-mast around the country, notably at The Washington Post, The New York Times, and in front of several celebrities' homes. The celebrities went out and bought an American flag for the first time just to fly it at half-mast for this important time of grief.

"The grieving process is painful but necessary," said Rep. Ilhan Omar. "As a nation, we need to stop and grieve this great, austere, revered religious scholar. He was one of the good ones."

In a rare moment of unity with The Squad, Pelosi gave each of the girls a hug, telling them to just "let it all out" in their time of sadness.

Ocasio-Cortez didn't seem to know what was happening but adjusted her glasses to look smart.

A teary-eyed Barack Obama was also seen solemnly lowering the flag in front of his seaside mansion. "To think, this all could have been prevented with a few pallets of cash." He sighed and stared off into the distance, a look of pain and regret on his face. "If only Trump had targeted a U.S. citizen with a drone strike instead."

Later, Democrats clarified they meant we should fly the Iranian flag at half-mast, not the "offensive and problematic" American flag.

Bwahahaha!

Oh man, this is so like being with my sister in a restaurant: vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free etc. I try not to go to restaurants if my sis will be there. At a family birthday she ordered a vegetarian, gluten free pizza. It looked like a pool of spew, so flat, yuck!
