I actually think, and thought, Meddle was the album...

Dunno for sure. Late teens probably. I think I had heard of them before Dark Side of the Moon came out but probably didn't know much about them. Dark Side of the Moon is when I really took notice.

More Americans killed by white supremecists than Muslim extremists, studies show

It's the same here. It's the locals you have to worry about.... the guy(s) down the street.

So there you go Seth.. I've been listening to Floyd longer than you. If you haven't heard their earlier records, you should have a listen. Meddle was an album I bought when I was about 17...……….. But earlier.. Obscured By Clouds. :wub I can actually remember the purchase itself.... I was barely 16...

And then Meddle.. WOW... I bought the record from the same shop I thnk.. Acland St , St Kilda, Melbourne Victoria Australia.

So try them, and listen to Atom Heart Mother,, which also became a favourite. :thumb

My introduction to Floyd was in my mid teens, stoned in the back of a kombie, via the magnificent Syd Barrett and his Madcap Laughs.

Opened a wonderful door.
