OH well... I suppose... it is all too late now... so you might as well go and spend your money overseas, while you still can. The world is fucked so lets get on with it. The more the merrier.
Yeah lets have more mega-coal mines in Australia, and more Natural gas drilling, and lets rip up TGAB for more oil and gas, and lets dredge the Reef, so the Coal ships can come in and out easily......

Very good pinkeye: I, like everyone else, hear your passion... but this is what NIETZSCHE identified... it's 'the will to power' as opposed to 'the will to live 'that is primary driver of the organism!
We wish to expend our energy I think were the very words he used,... and that leaves us vulnerable

rubbish. If i want to fly to Europe to see the sights it has nothing to do with power.
To many people think quoting philosophers gives their commentary credibility![]()

looking at pictures or video is not nor will it ever be, a substitute for the real thing.
Next you'll be telling me watching porn is the same as having sex with a real woman

need? It's not about a 'need'. I think everyone should travel overseas ... especially the ones whinging that asylum seekers should stay home. Send them into some of the battlefields they call home for a little perspective.
It's an opportunity to See how the rest of the world lives and just how lucky we really are. Overseas travel as well as being educational is also very character forming. Have some border guard point a sub machine gun at you while jabbering away in a foreign language very quickly knocks any superiority complex you might have into perspective.
