Yup, be corrupt but demand privacy. No privacy for women who have made a no doubt difficult decision to abort a fetus.

He's not even talking about privacy. He's talking about angry mobs not being allowed to picket abortion clinics and abuse the staff and patients anymore or impede their passage in NSW.

Yeah, got Ser 2 Ep 2 or something.

The Church when it has State power is pretty fucking primitive and vindictive, isn’t it? We must keep separation of Church and State as bedrock policy or we are lost. Science in the service of the Church, not to be thought of!

Season 2 is interesting, isn't it. It really dissects the relationships between the women, caused by their responses to lack of autonomy.

A very interesting parallel to reality.

I'm only up to Ep 7 of season 1.

I had to finish the first season of The Bridge - that was SO good!

How good is it? Clever, clever writing.

It was great.

A couple of the scenes in the final episode had me hitting the pause button, though.

I had to get up and get another wine.

Pretty disturbing stuff.

The two main actors are fantastic.

I'm looking forward to watching the next series.

Yeah, it's chilling, isn't it. Wine helps. The next few seasons likewise (season 4 just ended).

And i cannot express how much i love Saga and Martin. Best team of all time.

Hmmm I did not see the Ep where the handmaidens were kneeling in the rain holding a stone in their outstretched right arm. I came in on that one.
