Possibly something about turning vegan in that article as well if anyone bothers reading it.

Yay, forget over population and holidays to Europe and the good part of Turkey: let's just tell everyone to never get a dog to protect the house.

People can forget me not having a dog.

Most meat I eat these days is chicken or feral animals, love the taste of camel, oh my!

Actually, reckon camel sausages might be nice one day. I will be at the Central Market Saturday, will have a look.

The question becomes, "Why don't camel sausages already exist?"

Yes, but why don't they exist per se?

Try looking in Farmers Markets instead of “super”markets. I would like to see them in more shops: camels are an ecological blight!

yeah and next should definitely be feral goats, horses and donkeys.. Pigs? goes without question.

Just need some entrepreneurial jack and jill aroos.. … camels are actually something I haven't eaten yet.

Have eaten goat, much better than farmed—no stink.

Don’t look for horse meat anytime soon tho it is in the stinking Pal dog food.

I feed my dog mostly chicken, bits that would be wasted otherwise: chicken necks and giblets mostly. The odd red meat bone.

my dog, who suffered a bad puppyhood, raids my vege scraps .. often seen chomping on Cauli or Brocc stems, carrot peel, even unwanted home-made pumpkin soup. Loves chilli, and will devour tomato pastes from uneaten pastas, and prawn shells.
They (dogs) have adapted their tastes to human food. :bgrin

I'd recommend all dog-lovers to try and find, and read, a novel by Clifford D Simak, called City.
A futuristic tale, where humans become so degraded, that dogs take up the challenge of running things.

Was written before computers, so , when the power goes out, and all our banks crash, our communication fails, and disaster stalks the human world, look to your doggy friend for help and support.
