Yeah, evidence of the Libs trying to nobble the ABC. Continued infighting in the Libs and the Nats, PM Shouty McShoutFace still shouting garbage. Trumpy still a childish, natcissistic idiot.

I am just a bit over politics for the moment.

I think most people who care about others as much as they do themselves themselves are.

I feel this is why our government...... indeed many at the moment are broken.

I've already said that i don't feel i have the stones for oz poll so i don't know what has happened.

I do hope everyone had a good weekend. my favourite football team got done over by a late equaliser from 30 meters out..... good hit Sturridge. (credit where it is due even if it was for Liverpool).

I wont mention the unfolding tragedy in Indonesia because it was supposed to be a good weekend thread..... I shall take that elsewhere.

Is it too cynical to suggest the money to maintain them went into the pocket of a politician or official supposed to run the maintenance program?

i don't think that is too cynical an assumption.

The stuff was implemented after the horrific tsunami on boxing day in 2004.

apparently it hasn't been working since 2012.

All i heard is....(I don't know the real numbers) that it would have cost 100,000 Aussie dollars to have maintained that. It this is true then thats 300,000 less that Tony Abbotts annual.... ANNUAL golden handshake for being a crap PM for a year and a half.

Now over a thousand people are likely dead......... crap!

his story about that now infamous banana as a snack to a woman in labour that was thrown back at him had me doubled over.

I have certainly done things as foolish :roll :roll :rain
