I did manage to take the head off my 50cc motor bike to steel brush the carbon/soot deposit form the top of the cylinder. Then pull the muffler out of the exhaust pipe and apply a blowtorch to it, burn off all the oil and gunk. All fun and games until I managed to cross-thread one of the long bolts holding the head on top of the cylinder.
But I LOVE watching YouTubes by mechanics aka people who KNOW what they are doing restore engines and cars. I could watch those all dayโmy own work, jealously guarded, safely tucked away. Wait a minute, I am fucking retired!
Now โtheyโ are going to restore an old VW bug. No, not botanists {sigh!} M E C H A N I C S !
