Not at all Aussie, because programs are now available to everyone to create their own reality. It's happening to people all over.
You cannot trust a single thing you see on vid or TV ....TODAY. Not a thing, on face value. Most likely a scam if it too bizarre.
Entire scenarios can be created without the need of actual people, just their photos available on social media. If you have a presence on accessible sites YOU can be made to be seen to do ANYTHING.
It is only up to the imagination of the perpetrator.

I doubt that was fake. Service members, and especially ones who have served in combat, are among the least prejudiced people I've ever met.

Military personnel are turned by propaganda and dogma against the foreigners they have been commanded to kill.
Many Iraqis were murdered by the US military merely because they were Iraqis.
Abu Ghraib and the Kandahar massacre exemplified the inhumanity and prejudice of US military personnel.

I agree that most people are good. The main problem today, in my opinion, stems from politicians who have discovered that they can win votes by appealing to the fringes. It just encourages that fringe element further and gives a voice to their hatred.
I've seen that story before. It's a good idea and should be introduced across Australia
