Had one, went to bed, woke up with the ship just outside Devonport. Perfect!

Visited the block. Had arranged for that to be cleared and it was cleared, sort of. Where my trees are—weeds over waist hight. Where no trees—slashed. So tomorrow will hit the phone see if I can find someone to do the clearing in between the trees.

BUT

EVERY SINGLE TREE That was in the ground in January is still there! The Bramley’s Seedling English cooking (and cider!) apple has a nice little crop of apples!

Some back breaking work getting rid of the weeds and mulching heavily. Shift the trees and plant the new ones Sep next year I reckon.

I better get started. Not thrilled about weeds, thrilled all my trees are alive and well tho! I thought that for sure one of the Green Horse would die—it was looking pretty weak Sep-Oct last year and Jan this year!

One peach tree looks dead but isn’t—not quite. some spraying of kelp etc and careful weeding and pruning etc should get it back to life.
