Just bought the Kindle version!
How do you know its "all true".Absolutely riveting and fascinating and all true.
This is the story of KGB Colonel Oleg Gordievsky who spied for the British MI6 for 11 years in the 1970s and 1980s.
As good as any fictional spy novel. I could not put this book down and devoured it in 3 days.
I highly recommend it.
Would you feel better if I said it was non-fiction?How do you know its "all true".
No. The existence of Donald Trump is non-fiction but all his actions appear to be cheating, lying, and stealing brazenly and audaciously.Would you feel better if I said it was non-fiction?
Read it and decide for yourself if it’s true.
Oh, okay.No. The existence of Donald Trump is non-fiction but all his actions appear to be cheating, lying, and stealing brazenly and audaciously.
This guy's whole life was a lie. His story behind the lies and deception can only be true where there is independent evidence of truth.
I prefer real booksI got the Kindle edition—quicker, cheaper,
I might have to get one some time in the next few years ... my eyes are getting older than the rest of me.Yeah, I know but I like Kindle—can make the text a bit bigger, etc etc
no, even my eyes aren't that oldCataracts?

He was under gigantic stress!I finally finished it. It took a while to get here after I ordered it. i only got it two weeks ago
Nevertheless, it was a good read. Made better because it's based on real life events.
Oleg sounds like quite a guy. Although he did leave me scratching my head wondering if he had a death wish with several of his escapades during his 'escape'. I guess the stress got to him.
